Hundreds of university students demanded the resignation of Minister of Interior and Justice Tarek El Aissami yesterday, accusing him of not doing enough to apprehend suspects in the murder of a student during a recent protest. The students say the minister has dismissed the charges aimed at supporters of President Chávez as responsible for the shooting death of mechanical engineering student Jesús Ramirez Bello, 20, during a street protest on Tuesday.
