The 20 oil workers were released from detention but must still report monthly to authorities for monitoring. The workers were arrested by the National Guard late on Tuesday while protesting peacefully outside PDVSA offices in El Menito in the state of Zulia, and then transferred to the detention center in Cabimas and were accused of the crime of obstructing work.
