In the early hours of January 31, one of Venezuela's largest and most important synagogues, Maripérez (popularly known as Papelón), was raided, ransacked, and defaced by a commando militia group. This news comes directly to me from Sammy Eppel, a Jewish community leader (member of the CAIV - Confederación Asociaciones Israelitas de Venezuela) and columnist from El Universal. I believe that this blog is the first English language media to report on the incident, and will be cross posted on our new Venezuela Report.
Mr. Eppel, whom I had the opportunity to meet during my visit to Caracas this week, tells us that around 3:00-4:00 AM, several armed men scaled the walls of the Maripérez synagogue and took the security guards by surprise, leaving them tied up and locked in a storage closet. These individuals then opened the doors to let in a group estimated to be as large as 16 people, who proceeded to ransack and destroy the building, including painting anti-Semitic graffiti on the walls and removing the scared Torah scrolls from their place of keeping. The scrolls were thrown to the floor, painted upon, shredded, and defaced. The majority of the graffiti read "Death to Jews" and "Jews Get Out of Venezuela." There was distinct absence of any graffiti relating to the Bolivarian revolution.
"I believe that this is the result of the call to action published by the government press,which has been publishing an increasing number of specific anti-Semitic articles over the past few months," said Mr. Eppel. "The state's official and unacceptable position of hostility toward the Jewish community dates back to 2004."
The raid was characterized by a high level of professionalism and apparent planning. The group seized every computer hard drive in the office - not bothering to steal keyboards or monitors or anything else of value - which contain the names, addresses and personal details of a large majority of the Jewish population of the country, said Mr. Eppel. The community fears that the seizure of this contact information could result in a new campaign of violence by state-sponsored anti-Semitic groups, some with links to Arabic radical movements.
The commados also knew exactly where to find the video surveillance technology, and erased any record of their visit. At five in the morning, the police were called to investigate the incident and look for fingerprints and other indications of the identity of the attackers. Mr. Eppel did not seem confident that the official investigations would yield any result.

Without being a Palestinian, any person with sensitivity (especially a revolutionary) knows about the savageries of the Zionist Jews in a country that does not belong to them, snatched from the true inhabitants, something that produces the deepest anguish, pain, indignation and rage, too much for whoever believes in the action of justice and the desire to change without incurring in the excesses criticized by the people that believe they are above human natural laws
Good sense and the desire to triumph, force us to channel positively and constructively that mental and sentimental energy of a revolutionary in order to make possible concrete facts to achieve objectives. Here comes the Leninist question: What to do?
From this modest trench of ideas, the writer believes that in the context of a situation like the one suffered by the people of Palestine requires acts, activities and proposals of profoundly radical nature to awake the conscience of the Venezuelan people and mobilize them.
1) At national level.
Videos and forums about the true situation of Palestine and Israel, in all spaces, including "barrios" and villages, together with an intense debate of ideas
Media offensive in the press, radio, television and internet about the terrorism perpetrated by the Zionist Jews and their eurogringo (European and North American) allies since 1918 until the present. To assure the success of the offensive attack, besides reactivating (or waking the bureaucrats in charge) the agreement between Telesur and Al Jazeera, to kick out the negligent or sabotaging officials that serve only as ballast for the communications policy of the State as well as foster alternative community media. What is the use of CONATEL (where, supposedly Jewish citizens work in key positions) if up to now the procedure against Globovision for the declarations of Rafael Poleo about the assassination of the President is still lost in some drawer and there isn't a single civilian in jail for assassination and coup de etat denounced by Mario Silva between September and October 2008.?
Denounce publicly, with names and last names the members of powerful Jewish groups present in Venezuela, indicating the companies they own in order to establish a boycott. For example: not going ever again to the Sambil Shopping Center in Caracas, Maracaibo, Valencia, etc, owned by the Zionist thief Salomon Cohen, who continues getting rich since the Fourth Republic with the complicity of corrupt officials enchased in the machinery of the State. Thus, it is an imbecile who favors the opening of Sambil La Candelaria as a shopping center and even more brainless whoever wants such constructions in places like Catia.
In that respect, capitalist agents as these Zionist Hebrews are the thing that hurts them most is the pocket (including Jehovah) it is inappropriate to buy their products and go to their stores and to the stores, supermarkets, restaurants, etc., that have relations with them or are owned by them (such as Locatel or the dairy brand Carabobo) or where they sell their Kosher products as Unicasa and Central Madeirense.

To question the existence in Venezuela of educational institutions for Jews only as if they were a class different from our population, since it is not possible the existence of a State within a State.
Public, massive, periodic concentrations not only in front of the Israeli embassy but also in front of all Jewish institutions located in places like Sebucán and Los Chorros of Sucre Municipality, Miranda State, San Bernardino in Caracas. It is good to remember the Synagogue in the Caracas sector of Mariperez. These concentrations may be repeated in front of Globovisión, El Universal, Unión Radio, private and autonomous universities, etc., or any space where the Zionist interests are defended or promoted.
Detect and watch, by the intelligence entities of the State and by the social comptroller of the organized peoples, the undercover agents of Mossad and NGOs and other groups of the so called civil society (including the filthy ("escuálidos") students of the private and autonomous universities) that have received advise and financing from the artificial state of israel, specially when they are performing the ideological penetration of the barrios, as those located in Petare, Sucre Municipality. It is important to remember that Enrique Capriles Radonsky is an israeli citizen. In that order of ideas, let us remember the insult that the little bourgeois students imposed on the people of Petare on 01-15-2009 when, with total impunity, staged political anti government acts near the subway station, and nobody belted them really good and sent them to their comfortable houses and apartments. Purge the government institutions of those filthy officials, that with or without the red beret act in favor of the interests of Zionist groups located in our country.
To publicly challenge every Jew that you find in the street, shopping center or park to take a stand shouting at them slogans in favor of Palestine and against that abortion: Israel. Invite all antizionist jews living in Venezuela to publicly manifest their position against the Zionist war crimes and the imposition of israel as an artificial state existing over Palestine.
Install storage centers for the reception of donations destined to help the Palestine people, as it was done to help the Cuban and Haitian people when they suffered the impact of the 2008 hurricanes and broadcast it through the media.
Nationalization of the companies and confiscation of the assets of the Zionist jews that support the excesses of the nazi fascist state of israel and the immediate donation of said assets to the Palestinians, victims of the present holocaust. If there were any legal impediments, it will be necessary to modify the laws that go against an act of justice. In a deformed society not everything legal is just and not everything just is legal, a fact incompatible in a Socialist Society.
Bring to trial all Zionist jews involved in the coup de etat of Thursday April 11, 2002 and February 2003 as the witch Pinchas Brenner and other jews of his kind that still hide behind the curtains. To foster the outstanding job of hackers against the internet pages prepared by the Zionist and those governments and institutions with favorable ties with Israel.
Organize an international concert for peace in Palestine and against the Israeli invasion. Only artists and revolutionary groups should perform at said concert. We do not want anything to do with Shakira, Juanes, Maná, Miguel Bosé and other filthy swindlers!! The concert could take place in Caracas or in Maracaibo to smoke the cave of the opposition entrenched in Zulia State.
Organize an international conference about the apparition of the theocratic, nazi fascist state of Israel as a genocide eurogringo colony and another about the myths and truths of the supposed holocaust or Jewish holotale (a true pity industry of blackmail and low rank sentimentalism) applied by the German Nazis of a very doubtful, twisted and questionable nature to the extent of being questioned, yes there were killings but not to the extent of a massive, planned massacre as the Zionist horde is making now in Palestine. Both conferences would be held in Caracas with an ample coverage of the media and with duration of several days.
Combat the media criminalization of the just and heroic struggles of groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, as well the offensive and cynical media victimization of the segregationist state of israel and the poisonous and invisible manipulation herein referred, not to reduce the whole conflict solely to the Gaza Strip, when it is only a part of a larger whole that is Palestine. Let us not forget that Gaza is part of Palestine, but Palestine is not only Gaza. It is also Cisjordania and the rest of the territory illegally and violently taken from the Palestinians and occupied by the zionist jewish invaders.

Material, financial and moral compensation to all Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian victims with the resources of the state of Israel or in the last instance with the wrongly obtained assets of Zionist Jews beneficiaries of properties originally owned by the Palestinians and their descendants.
Reconstruction (with international collaboration) of all Palestinian villages and cities together with the complete return of all villages and cities previously populated by the Palestinians that are illegally occupied by Israeli citizens. Likewise, hand over to the Palestinians all Jewish settlements that sprung after the creation of the outlaw israel, in zones that were not populated previously. In summary, total return of the Palestine nation without falling in the political trap of the very questionable UN resolution 181 (disrespected by Zionism) that absurdly establishes the creation of two states in the same Palestinian territory. One single Palestinian territory, one single Palestinian state!!.
Endorse the dissolution of the artificial state of Israel (a medieval anachronism of religious inspiration) after complying with due compensation, reconstruction and return of the previous points. This dissolution does not imply the expelling of all Jews from Palestinian territory, but assuming in another manner the proposal of comrade Eduardo Rothe, that is, the formation of a constituent assembly with the participation of Jews, anti-Zionists and Palestinians of Jewish, Christian and Muslim faith consecrating religious tolerance and the construction of a socialist, pluralist and multiethnic society, to become and example for the Asian peoples. The territory of this new state will continue being named Palestine and the state of Israel will be a bad memory of backward eras. Zionist Jews will have to accept the conditions or migrate to other places, like the United States or Europe from where many of them and the ancestors come.
Immediate prosecution, without mercy of all Zionist Jews, politicians and military (all ranks, including soldiers) responsible of the present holocaust and previous war crimes committed in Palestine and other countries as well as prosecution of the right wing Jewish settlers authors and accomplices of these and other atrocities. Include in these judicial processes members of terrorist groups like Hagana, Irgun and Stern still alive and carry out post mortem trials of dead criminals like Golda Meier, David Ben Gurion, Menahem Begin, Ariel Sharon, etc.
Search for and prosecute Israeli mercenaries that have trained the paramilitary that caused sufferings to the peoples of Colombia and Central America. A good representative of that illustrious group is the psychopath Yair Klein (or whatever is his name), retired colonel o f the Israeli army.
Act forcibly against the United States and the European countries that oppose or sabotage the application of the points here stated.
To continue with these succession of statements would take very long due to the enormity of the aberrations committed by Zionists confronted with the colossal capacity for love, imagination, intelligence and justice that the revolutionaries must developed and foster among ourselves and the rest of humanity to make possible a better world.

ADL CONDEMNS VIOLENT ATTACK ON CARACAS SYNAGOGUE
New York, NY, January 31, 2009 … The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today condemned the violent attack on a Caracas synagogue and called on President Hugo Chavez to promptly and publicly denounce this heinous anti-Jewish hate crime and to quickly bring the perpetrators to justice. Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director, issued the following statement:
Just days after the international community commemorated the Holocaust in ceremonies of remembrance throughout the world, a synagogue in Caracas was the scene of a modern day Kristallnacht. For five hours, violent anti-Semites profaned and vandalized the most sacred space and objects of Jewish life, leaving behind graffiti that said “Get out,” “Death to All,” and “Damn Israel, Death.” This violent attack occurring on the Jewish Sabbath is reminiscent of the darkest days leading to the Shoah, when Jews were attacked and synagogues and Torahs vandalized and destroyed under the guard of the Nazi regime.
Sadly, this is not a random event in Venezuela; it is directly related to the atmosphere of anti-Jewish intimidation promoted by President Chavez and his government apparatus. The time has come for Mr. Chavez to abandon the official government rhetoric of demonization of Israel and Jews and to publicly denounce this wanton act of anti-Semitic violence. President Chavez must ensure that his government quickly brings the perpetrators to justice.
