While EU leaders met in Brussels for an emergency summit to discuss what should be done about the invasion of Georgia, Russian television releases a clip of Putin hunting down a tiger with a tranquilizer gun. Best thing we've seen since the topless fishing trip.

It's actually far more hilarious than that! Russian media are reporting that Putin saved a band of journalists from a ferocious tiger attack.
Nobody would dispute? I certainly would. If Russia were even slightly good at propganda, it would not have been repudiated by every country in the world on Georgia, and at least one nation would have joined it in recognizing Ossetia.
Your hyperbole sounds vaguely American -- thinking of defecting?
